It is your special day. There are many things to take care of and in some ways, worry about. The first impression, as always, makes an impact. The importance of the floral pieces in perfection definitely cannot be overlooked. Wedding is a celebration of a special union and we hope to be able to help you and your loved ones make it even more memorable.
Doing your own flowers can be intimidating but with good planning, doing trial bouquets and arrangements, you will get good at it. If you have a friend or two who have experiences, that's even more fantastic.
We encourage all our clients to do these first:
1. Doyour research up front; like looking through floral magazines, books, online, etc to determine what you like in your bridal bouquet, bridemaids' bouquets, your table arrangment.
2. Determine what kind of budget you have for the wedding flowers.
3. Determine how much time you may have before the wedding; whether you will have help to do the bouquets before the rehearsal dinner or right before that; whether you can entrust someone to do the flowers for you.
4. Talk to us and get an estimated cost.
5. Give yourself a chance to practice before ordering. This way, you will know exactly how many stems of flowers, fillers, and green to put into an arrangement. It will be stressful if you realised that you do not have enough flowers to all all the flowers you want on the day of the wedding or right before that. This way, you will know if you really want to take on this challenge or to go to a good florist. (We can also refer you to our great florist customers if you need one.)
6. Don't forget that we have floral supplies, vases, and tools to make your arrangements.
